"What do I have to do to improve my sleep???" Well, you know the usuals... 1. Dark, cool room. 2. No electronics near your head; cell phone, IPad, electronic clock. Actually you shouldn't even have a TV in your bedroom. 3. Hot shower before bed or an Epsom salts bath (2 cups, 30 minutes) 4. Medicate, stretch for 5 minutes before going to bed. 5. Eating a protein-fat snack just before bed. No carbs 2-3 hours before bedtime. 6. Don't exercise before bed unless you are Type 0 blood. 7. And don't drink caffeine after 3PM Yeah, you knew all of that, right? There are a lot of supplements that you can take for sleep; melatonin, CBD, chamomille tea, etc. If you have tried all of these and nothing seems to be working well enough. Remember, cortisol is like a weak adrenaline and when you spike your levels at night you wake up. PS also helps with your stress response during the day and has teh additional benefits...
