- Jennifer Andres MSN, FNP-C obtained her bachelor’s degree in the science of nursing from Wayne State University. She later went onto obtain her a master’s degree in the science of nursing from South University. She worked in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at William Beaumont Hospital for 27 years in a variety of roles – bedside nursing, preceptor, transport team and nurse clinician.
- As a nurse practitioner she has worked in family practice, pediatrics, and corporate wellness clinics. Early in her career, she lived abroad for a year and was exposed to integrative medicine. This exposure seeded a great curiosity to blend holistic medicine with allopathic medicine. In 2018 she had a health crisis that led her further down the path of seeking alternative treatments for thyroid disease and Lyme. She has made great strides in managing these health issues utilizing a functional medicine approach. She has sought out further education from the Institute of Functional Medicine and Functional Medicine University.
- She has shadowed functional medicine doctors in the area, including our own Dr. Topouzian and has been working with us since 2021. We are excited to have added her to our practice. She is working with clients who are looking to improve their health by addressing hidden causes of their ailments.
