- Jennifer Andres MSN, FNP-C obtained her bachelor’s degree in the science of nursing from Wayne State University. She later went onto obtain her a master’s degree in the science of nursing from South University. She worked in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at William Beaumont Hospital for 27 years in a variety of roles – bedside nursing, preceptor, transport team and nurse clinician.
- As a nurse practitioner she has worked in family practice, pediatrics, and corporate wellness clinics. Early in her career, she lived abroad for a year and was exposed to integrative medicine. This exposure seeded a great curiosity to blend holistic medicine with allopathic medicine. In 2018 she had a health crisis that led her further down the path of seeking alternative treatments for thyroid disease and Lyme. She has made great strides in managing these health issues utilizing a functional medicine approach. She has sought out further education from the Institute of Functional Medicine and Functional Medicine University.
- She has shadowed functional medicine doctors in the area, including our own Dr. Topouzian for the last 8 months. We are excited to add her to our practice. She will be working with clients who are looking to improve their health by addressing hidden causes of their ailments.
