We are tentatively going to start seeing patients again (in the flesh) vs. just telemedicine starting June 1st.
Having said that, I believe telemedicine is going to be the world's new norm for quite some time. I am okay with that and if you are happy with continuing to use telemedicine as your norm, that's fine too. If you have not used our system yet for Functional Tele-Medicine here is the link which is located on our website: https://askdrt.weebly.com/functional-tele-medicine.html If and when you do schedule an appointment in the office, we are requiring masks be worn, and we will be checking forehead temperatures upon arrival. And it's without saying that if you start feeling ill before your in-office appointment to change it to telemedicine. The IV Suite is open now. Masks and appointments required. If you are still concerned about going out and getting your blood work drawn, I would mention that most of the Quest/Labcorp and hospital draw stations are extremely slow. Now is a better time to get your labs than when people start getting out and about. And don't forget, for thyroid, and hormones we can test your levels at home by sending you out a finger stick, urine or saliva test kit. We are all waiting for life to get "back to normal." I think our normal has changed. Embrace it and go with it. Let us know if you have any questions. DR.T
